Retired, I worked with the Salinas Union High School District as a Resource Specialist for almost 14 years. I taught primarily learning-disabled and hearing-impaired students using art as a medium to teach many academic concepts.

Currently, I am focused on writing and illustrating children's books, especially those dealing with disabilities and welcome any projects along these lines.

I am available for school/library visits.

I have traveled extensively with my husband and use the experiences as subject matter for my fine art paintings.
